Single rooms are available immediately.I have rooms in a house located in highfield roughly behind the University Library---the most convenient safest and quietest area around the University of Southampton. It is 2-3 minutes walking distances to the bus station the University library and sport center and about 5 minutes walking distance to the coach station. Within 10-20 minutes walking distance there are 4 supermarkets.The rooms are single and double ones priced at 220-290 pounds per month including water Internet and council tax bills. The 270 one is en-suite room fully-furnished even including TV. sofa and mini-fridge. The 260 one is 2.9mX2.4m fully-furnished including TV and sofa. The 290 one is a double room (3.4mx3.4m) with LCD TV and two seat sofa. So the rooms look like hotel rooms to some extent. All rooms have wired or wireless internet connection.A double room will be available soon priced 290 pounds cover internet water and council tax. This room has its own LCD DVD TV and two-seats sofa. I can also offer you a combined option: a unit of of two single rooms. One is 2.9mX2.4m and another is 2.4mX2.2m. Between two rooms there is a toilet. These two rooms and the toilet are in one unit with its own hall way and a door (lockable) to isolate them from the rest of the house. It is like a flat (but no its own kitchen). I can rent small one at 220 pounds and the big one 260 to two persons respectively. However if you take them both I can offer you 430 pounds per month including TV Internet council tax and water. Then you can use one room as your bed room and another one as living room. Anyway one room is facing garden and another is sun-facing. So you can have green view and sun shine at the same time. Current tenants are professionals and PhD students. Off-road parking is available and free.I am the landlord of the property and like to rent rooms to professionals because I have paid the council tax.Of course the students are also welcome.
